In this case, EarlyBird Check-In will need to be purchased on up to 36 hours prior to the travelers scheduled departure. If your company utilizes booking tools, then it may not appear in the flow. EarlyBird Check-In® requires an additional fee. The travel agency will retain ownership of their GDS issued ticket even if EarlyBird is purchased directly with Southwest. Reservations booked in all other GDS’s can purchase EarlyBird on. Q: Will EarlyBird® purchases be available in the GDS?Ī: EarlyBird® is now available for purchase in Sabre, Amadeus, and Travelport GDS’s. Southwest does not allow any travel agency to openly distribute our content via any online platform directly to consumers. Q: Can an OTA or a Meta Search agency get access to Southwest?Ī: OTAs and Meta Search agencies are not being approved by SWA to get content through Travelport GDS nor any other GDS provider.
